Twice a year, a group of local crafters (some not so local, one from the Houston area) come together for a Backwoods Marketplace at the old Blackstone Ridge home place. This group crafts for the love of creating. They work all year for these two shows. The items range from shabby chic/Victorian to primitive/steam punk. Items include handmade jewelry, re-purposed clothing, birdhouses, framed signs, shabby chic furniture, wind chimes, handmade greeting cards and holiday décor, crosses and ancestry art.
